This is a 1952 Rolex Oysterdate Ref 6066 with “super oyster” winding crown. This Ref.6066 is the first production Rolex medium sized 30mm manual winding model with a date with it's original dial and all-red digits for the date disc. These early post-war Oyster had two-piece cases which was replaced by 6094 (34mm), 6266 and a final 6466 (3 pc case) before phasing out altogether in the late. it uses the 10½ boy size Calibre 740 movement with 17 jewels and adjusted to 2 positions.
