Jan - March 2024 Q1 review

For the first quarter of 2024, I have only managed to find one Rolex 1016 and an interesting Seagull TV watch. I was really tempted to get a Vacheron & Constantin vintage watch but it is a hand wind one instead of automatic and the price is high. I shall wait for an automatic Vacheron & Constantin instead. I have limit myself in term of new watch purchase at 4 units 2024. Affter getting the two new vintage watches, I still have the quotas for 2. How Since I have sold 4 watches (cheaper values), my quotas shopuld be back to 6…

The Rolex 1016 has been fully restored with an new old stock dial.

Harwood automatic watch

Rolex Athlete & Rolex Empire

I have decided to bring back the Rolex Athlete to compare with the Rolex Empire ref 3548. From the individual photo, the Rolex Athlete & Rolex Empire ref 3548 may look similar but the former is slightly smaller. In Hong Kong, these are called 棋子餅錶。 The Rolex Athlete like the Empire are quite limited in production.
