This is a Rolex 6075 Big Bubbleback from the year 1964 which I have found while visiting the watch fair at Holiday Inn. There are many versions of the Big bubbleback. This one is an early one with the small Rolex crown on the dial and all red calendars. I believe the Rolex 6075 is the last of the pre Datejust watch and this may be a 1950s watch that have been serviced in the 1960s or from the 1960s using the remaining parts. From the search in internet, we can see that the Rolex 6075 comes in both the full bubbleback and semi bubbleback movements.
In the early 1990s, the smaller bubbleback watches were more popular and command a premium. However, things got reversed as many prefer the big bubbleback watches now owing to the popularity of bigger size watches. Even though the big Bubbleback is named big, it has a nice size of 36mm.
