For the real serious watch connoisseur, the early
vintage 1920-30s Rolex Oyster is a must to collect. There are two versions namely the
Cushion and the art deco Octagonal early Oyster. These early Oysters watch come
in steel, and gold and some nickle plated brass case. For these early watches, it also comes with Non Oyster
case. For those watches made in Oyster case were attempts by Rolex to make waterproof watches. As you can see from the photos below, Rolex was a genius in marketing and it used swimmer to promote the waterproof feature of its watches back in the early years and they have launched a series of great campaign.
