2025 is a good year! I have started the Q1 of 2025 with a very clear focus on strengthening my vintage Rolex collection and getting those vintage watches that I have failed to find in the past plus with the objective of reducing the number of watches.
It’s back to basic year! I have collected 7 new watches and I have also traded away 14 watches thereby not increasing the total number of watches. Of the 7 watches, vintage Rolex took up 5.
Rolex 18078 in Stella blue dial with diamonds markers. This is perhaps one of the most beautiful and interesting watch with its nice shining stella blue dial and the bark bezel and bracelet. Moreover, it comes complete with its papers!
Rolex 5030 in 18k rose gold shall be my best buy for the year as I have been looking for this watch for a long time since 1991. I have almost managed to get one in yellow gold in 2024 but the movement is not the full bubbleback one plus its in yellow gold instead of the rose gold. So happy with it!
Rolex 6105 in 18k yellow gold is another great find as it comes with a nice red wording!
This is another versions of the Vintage Omega made for North Korean Kim Il Sung using the Cal 751 movement ~
