The Tudor 94010 is a nearly new vintage Submariner watch, produced in 1981. It's renowned for its robust craftsmanship and close ties to military use, particularly by the French Navy (Marine Nationale) between 1975 and 1983. This no-date model features a 39-40mm stainless steel case and is powered by the ETA 2776 automatic movement with a stop-seconds function for precise time adjustment. I was fortunate enough to acquire this watch in 1988 for a mere S$500. At that time, sports watches weren't popular, and it had to be sold as part of a set with the then-popular Rolex Bubbleback. It's quite a miracle that a watch that wasn't fashionable back then could become so popular.
