When I first started collecting watches in 1988, I have started with these Vintage Election Grand Prix boy size watches. It comes with all steel, steel with gold and solid gold. Most of these were simple 3 hands watches, but there are some with the triple calendars functions as below, one with sweep second and another with subsidiary seconds. In 1900 the company was listed as Les fils de L. Braunschweig for all kinds of watches from cylinder to lever, simple and complicated, repraters, chronographs, calendars, grand sonnerie and chronographs.
They exhibited at the Paris expo in 1900.
In 1916 the company was listed as L.Braunschweig, Fabrique d’Horlogerie Election SA
In 1920 the company had an ad. For Manufacture des Montres Election.
